Job Summary

This is an entry level sales support role responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for the Direct Sales team in a high-volume call setting. Researches accounts that would be good leads and manages and updates leads in customer relationship management system (CRM).

Key Responsibilities 

1. Identifies and qualifies sales opportunities for assigned OEC software products.

2. Conducts outbound proactive calling to generate business in a high-volume setting.

3. Engages with prospects by phone and email and communicates knowledgeably to provide content and product/service information.

4. Generates introductory meetings with key decision makers and nurtures accounts into a sales qualified lead.

5. Qualifies leads and prospects using defined criteria and passes them to Account Executives.

6. Researches accounts using internal tools as well as external browsers and sites such as Google and LinkedIn.

7. Participates in outbound call campaigns to create leads, drive attendance to upcoming events, and create awareness of current products and promotions.

8. Develops strong understanding of OEC solutions, profile accounts, business needs, and other relevant information.

9. Achieves assigned targets and performance metrics in line with business requirements.

10. Utilizes OEC’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) to document activity and maintain customer accounts.

Education

Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience

· Is a strong hunter: driven, resilient and creative in engaging in meaningful conversations and handling objections

· Is a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who possesses a drive for results 

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Able to employ structured selling methods

· Comfortable placing a large number of outbound calls on a daily basis (40-60 calls per day) 

· Works effectively and independently in a high-pressure, high-risk sales environment

· Strong desire and ability to evolve sales skills and product knowledge, and progress to a full sales-cycle Account Executive
