Griffith Foods is a global manufacturer of food products. We provide a wide range of taste and texture components for food industry customers throughout the world. Our products include seasoning blends, dry mixes, coating systems, dough blends, crumbs, flavors, sauces and food bases that are used in an extensive variety of application from snack foods and processed meat and poultry to ready meals. Position: Inside Sales Representative (Europe)

Location: Hybrid (Ideally based out of Suresnes – France )

Territory: Europe

Reports To: Global Business Development Director (Spices and Herbs)

 

Role Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting sales development through pre- sales activities for the Europe and affiliated regions: identifying leads, generating opportunities, providing presales support to future customers, and managing target accounts. This role involves a high level of collaboration with the Global Business Development Director, Marketing and Customer Service teams.

The role is hybrid and requires a minimum of 2 days /week from office

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Development to define targeted prospection and marketing campaigns in line with the growth objective
  • Do research on customers in order to gather critical information on them
  • Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Reach out and maintain regular contact with leads/target accounts via phone, email, online channels or any appropriate mean with planned hand over to BDD/Segment Director
  • Reopen and follow up cold cases
  • With the support of the organization, collect and communicate all pre-sales supports (ex: quality information, product information, quote for standard services offer, and other relevant details)
  • Organize and monitor the sample activities in order to initiate approval process
  • Directly handle slow gestation/small accounts
  • Play a key role in providing leads/target accounts with a positive/differentiated sales experience to progress/cement business relations through diligent/proactive action
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects, update CRM systems, and ensure accurate sales pipeline tracking.
  • Support business development direct with dissemination of sales materials, product training, and market reports, enabling effective deal closure.
  • Work closely with the team to follow up on customer requests and allow quick turn around of the requests

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four/five-years college or university. A post-graduate degree in Food Science/Marketing/Business is desirable.
  • Ideally 2-5 years’ experience in a similar position, experience in the food industry and/or food ingredients preferred
  • Alignment with Terova mission and values
  • Interest and familiarity with quality, performance, and sustainability standards
  • highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Strong listening skills
  • Must be comfortable with frequent communication through various media (phone, email, networking and messaging platforms like Teams/LinkedIn/WhatsApp) in order to generate interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Reliable and action-oriented
  • Ability to work as a team-player effectively with international teams in a dynamic environment. Ability to comfortably operate in a multi-locational, multi-cultural matrix organization. have strong business acumen, the ability to work through ambiguity
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Desirable experience working CRM/ERP platforms
  • The role is hybrid and requires a minimum of 2 days /week from office
